Lead Change. Make a Difference. Become a Trustee
Age Connects Morgannwg (ACM) is entering an exciting new chapter. In addition to operating Cynon Linc - our vibrant community hub in Aberdare that houses our head office, information & advice hub, café, meeting and event facilities, and a doctors surgery - we’ve also launched several innovative new projects, including our Dementia Matters programme and Trusted Assessor service.
We’re now looking for passionate, skilled, and forward-thinking individuals to join our Board of Trustees and help shape the strategic direction of our charity.
Our trustees play a vital role in ensuring the charity’s resources are responsibly managed and used effectively to support our mission: improving the lives of older people across Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend, and Merthyr Tydfil.
Together, We Can Create a Better Future for Older People
This is a voluntary position with a commitment of around 10 days per annum, it offers the chance to use your expertise to make a real difference in your community. In return, we’ll provide a full induction, ongoing training, and continuous support to help you contribute meaningfully to our work.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Treasurer – strong financial management background to support the Board.
- Fundraising, Marketing, Technology, or Campaigning – to help us grow our impact and reach.
If you have skills and expertise outside those particular areas, but are passionate about making a difference for older people and our communities, please contact us using the details below.
