A guide to vaccinations for the Over 50s
Vaccination is one of the most important things we can do to protect ourselves - and those around us - from serious illness. As we get older, our immune systems naturally weaken, which means infections can have a greater impact on our health and wellbeing.
Staying up to date with recommended vaccinations helps prevent illness, reduces the risk of complications, and supports us to live independently and well for longer. Vaccines not only protect you, but also help protect your family, friends, and community by reducing the spread of disease.
