About us
Age Connects Morgannwg is a charity dedicated to supporting older people, with our head office based in Aberdare. Since 1977, we have been helping people navigate some of the most challenging times in later life.
Over the decades, thousands of older people across Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf have found companionship, laughter, new interests and a listening ear through our services. In the last financial year alone, we welcomed more than 100,000 visits to our community hub, provided information and advice to over 4,100 people, delivered nail cutting services to 3,700 clients, and helped older people claim more than £1.5 million in welfare benefits. These numbers represent real lives supported, greater independence maintained, and communities strengthened.
Our staff and volunteers are the beating heart of our charity, bringing compassion, expertise and commitment to everything we do. You can find out more about our CEO, Daisy Cole, our Senior Leadership Team and our Trustees by visiting the Our People page.
