Volunteering

Volunteering with Age Connects Morgannwg couldn’t be simpler! It’s about giving your time to help do something useful. In return, you get the satisfaction of helping an older person or helping the charity with its business.

No qualifications are necessary; all you need is a little free time, a big heart and a good sense of humour! We provide all the necessary training to make sure you learn and grow into your role. Here are some ideas about how you can volunteer for ACM.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, gain new experiences, and have fun. Don’t just take our word for it — watch the video below and let Rachel tell you about her experience as a volunteer with Age Connects Morgannwg.
As part of our Reaching Out Project, we are always looking for more volunteers to support older people through befriending. Your contribution through volunteering will have a very real impact on the health and well-being of the older person.
