(4-hour shifts across a
4-week rolling rota working
one Saturday and one Sunday per month on separate weekends. Shifts scheduled between

Age Connects Morgannwg is the leading charity working with older people living in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil (the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board footprint). We have a strong history with over 45 years of supporting older people and their families through some of the most difficult times in their life. We also have a proven track record of listening to older people, learning what’s important to them and caring about the way they are treated, perceived, and portrayed.
About the Job
Overall Responsibilities:
- Supporting Healthcare staff to improve resident experience, wellbeing and happiness using a range of methods including ‘armchair travel’ experiences and the use of digital technology, (i.e., audio books, FaceTime, virtual experiences and on-line ‘quizzes’)
- Provide daily meaningful, therapeutic activities and opportunities for residents
- Reassure, motivate and encourage service users enabling them to maintain their quality of life.
