Meet Kourtney
Kourtney is our wonderful Programme Coordinator and has been a valued part of the team for almost a year. She keeps everything running smoothly — from managing referrals and carrying out quality checks and audits, to making those all‑important ‘keeping in touch’ calls. Chances are, Kourtney will be the first friendly voice our clients hear. First impressions really do matter, and we’re incredibly lucky to have her representing our service with such warmth and care.

What do you do in your role?
I am the first point of contact for all clients who are referred to us, my job is to welcome them to our service, and to have a chat with them so that I can understand what support they require.
What do you enjoy most about working on the team?
I enjoy being part of a team which cares deeply about the clients, and their families, that we support. Everyone is so friendly, and always willing to help, and I think that type of work ethic is inspiring.
What motivates you in your work supporting people Living with dementia?
I love learning about the people we support, and I think that understanding them as a person is really important in our roles; I am motivated by the opportunity my role gives me to get to know people, as this helps me support them better.
Share a moment that made you feel proud of your work.
Whenever I speak with our clients, or their family members, they always express their gratitude for our help. Hearing how our service makes a difference to them always makes me feel proud.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy socialising with friends and spending quality time with my family, I’m also studying for a degree which takes up a fair bit of my time!
