Meet Chloe
Chloe is our dedicated Memory and Wellbeing Guide covering part of Cynon and Taf. Chloe has been part of our team for a year and has lived experience of dementia. Chloe was keen to see improvements in the support available to those living with dementia, which is what attracted her to this role with us.

What do you do in your role?
I support people living with dementia and their families to feel understood, valued, and connected. I provide emotional support, practical guidance, and opportunities for meaningful engagement that promote wellbeing, independence, and quality of life.
What do you enjoy most about working on the team?
Being part of a compassionate and supportive team who genuinely care about the people we work with. We share knowledge, encourage one another, and work collaboratively to find the best ways to support individuals and families.
What motivates you in your work supporting people Living with dementia?
Having the opportunity to make a positive difference in someone’s day, no matter how small it may seem. Supporting people affected by dementia to feel heard, respected, and empowered is incredibly important to me.
Share a moment that made you feel proud of your work.
Seeing people who feel isolated gradually grow in confidence and engagement through our sessions. Knowing that my support helped them feel more comfortable, valued, and connected reminded me why this work is so meaningful.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going outdoors, and finding moments to relax and recharge. I love watching rugby, listening to music and spending time with my dog Bonnie.

I did a 13.000 ft skydive and raised over £1800 for Dementia UK.
